These are the best 20 TV comedies/shows/series...at least in my opinion. Enjoy!


1. MAD TV - This was an awesome to watch on late saturday nights as a kid. The show was created from MAD magazine where they had mini cartoon clips of the spy vs. spy scenes and they also did random comedy sketches where they had hilarious character like Ms.Swan and Stuart. If you haven't seen MAD TV before, check it out!


2. Married with Children - Another one of my favorite tv comedy shows from the 90's was Married with Children! This was a comedy that was about a family that lived in Chigago. Al, was the broke shoe selling husband who was married to Peggy, who was an unemployed, bon-bon, oprah watching wife, and they had two kids, Bud, the short, lonely son and Kelly, the popular, hot, blonde. One of the best TV comedy shows!







3.Saved by the Bell - This was another one of my favortie tv comedy shows of the 90's..probably because I watched it every morning before school. The show was focused on a group of friends in a fictional High School called 'Bayside' that was placed in California. The main character were Zack Morris, Kelly Kapowski, Screech, A.C. Slater, Lisa Turtle, Jessie Spano, and Mr. Belding, who was the high school principal.







4. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - This was on the best TV Comedy shows/series of the 90's and I am sure that a lot of people would agree with me on this pick! This show was about Will, who was a troubled youth from Philadelphia that ended up moving out to Bel-Air to live with his rich Uncle and his family. The main character were Will,  his cousin Carlton, uncle Phillip, aunt Vivian, cousin Ashley(the younger sister) cousin Hilary and Geoffry, the butler.




5. Family Matters - This was another one of my favorite and I think one of the best/underrated TV comedy shows/series of the 90's. This TV comedy gem takes was set in Chicago and revolved around a middle-class family, the Winslow's and their nerdy neighbor, Steven Urkel. In addition to Steve Urkel, the main characters were, Carl, who was a police officer and the father of the Winslow Family, Harriette, the wife, Laura, Eddie and the youngest child, Judy.









6. Step by Step - This was another great TV comedy show/series of the 90's. It took place in the suburbs of Wisconsin. The story was that Carol and Frank met on vacation and got married with 3 kids each, to from one large, wacky family. The other main character were Dana, Karen and Mark, who were from Carol's side, the Foster family. In addition, there was J.T, Al, Cody and Brendan(nephew), who Frank's side, the Lambert family.




7. Full House - This was one of my favorite TV comedy show/series to watch growing up...I think its because they put it on right after school. The show was based in San Francisco, and was about a single dad Danny Tanner, who asks his best friend Joey Gladstone and his brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis to help raise his three daughters, D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle after his wife dies.



8. Boy Meets World - This is another golden TV comedy show/series that I remember watching on Friday nights as a kid. The show based around on Cory's life in High school. In addition to Cory, the main characters were, Topanga his high school girlfriend, Shawn, his best friend, and George Feeny, the high school principal and Cory's next door neighbor.







9. That 70's Show - One of the best TV comedy show/series of the 90's for sure! This show was based in Wisconsin and revolved around Eric Foreman's life. In addition to Eric Foreman, the main characters were Red, Kitty, Donna, Hyde, Fez, Jackie and Kelso.







10. Home Improvement - Yes...I'll say it again...one of the greatest TV comedy shows/series of the 90's! This show was focused in Detroit and on Tim 'the toolman' Taylor who hosted his own tool show with Al. The other main characters were his 3 sons, Mark, Randy, Brad, the wife, Jill and Wilson, the neighbor with advice who's face you never see until the final episode! Great comedy show!










11. Mr. Bean - This is definatley one of the best british tv comedy sitcoms of the 90's in my opinion. The show features basically no talking on Mr.Bean's part, yet he responds to every situation with mumbles/grumbles and examination in situations. One of the best tv comedy shows ever! If you haven't seen it yet, watch it!

 12. Seinfeld - Considered by many to be one of the best tv comedy shows/series of the 90's and for good reason! Starring Jerry Seinfeld, George, Kramer and Elaine, you can bet that you're always gonna be in for a good laugh! Whether it's Kramer sliding thru the door or George reexamining a situation that happened a moment ago, this show never gets old and truly one of the best tv comedies ever!



13. Friends - This show is in the same league as Seinfeld...classic, golden, tv comedy series. The show was based around a group of friends in Manhattan and whether it's Joey acting a fool, Ross buying a monkey or Pheobe just being Pheobe, you can bet that each episode on going to take you on a funny ride. The main characters in this show were a gang of friend starting with Ross, Monica, Pheobe, Chandler, Joey and Rachael.




14. The Drew Carey Show - A great tv comedy show/series from the 90's starting Drew Carey and if you have ever watched the show, you would be able to tell by the intro that the show is based in Cleavland! Drew is the assistant director of personell in a department store and he has daily feuds with Mimi. On his time off, he kicks back and brews and drinks his own brew with his friends. Enjoy!









15. Roseanne - This is another one of the best TV comedy show/series, which is about a working class family struggling with modern issues, such as, marriage, money, kids and parents in law. The main characters are members of the Connor family - DJ, Darlene, Becky, Dan & Roseanne.




16. News Radio - This is one of the best and most underrated TV comedy shows/series of the 90's for sure! The show is based in New York at the local wnyx news radio station and deals with office politics and relationships. The main characters include Dave, Jimmy, Bill, Matthew, Lisa, Beth, Joe and Catherine.





17. Everybody Loves Raymond - One of the best, classic tv comedy shows/series of the 90's. The shows focus is Ray, who is a sports writer raising a family and lives next door to his parents, who live with his older, single, brother that is a police officer.









18. Martin - This show is based in Detroit and revolves around Martin Payne, who is a DJ at a local radio station. Martin has daily problems that he likes to talk about on his show, whether it be something about his girlfriend or what his neighbor had said to him earlier that morning, come see what Martin has to say!








19. Sabrina the teenage Witch - A pretty cool TV comedy/series based on the Archie Comic I watched when I was younger. The show Sabrina Spellman, who, on her 16th birthday, discovers that she has magical powers. She lives with her 600 year old aunts, European witches Hilda and Zelda and their magical talking cat Salem in Massachusetts.



20. Hangin' with Mr. Cooper - This is another one of the best and most underrated tv comedy shows/series in my opinion. The show was based in Oakland, California and revolves around Mark Cooper who is a former NBA player turned high school gym teacher. A true gem!
